Three Simple Steps to Choosing The Perfect Cake

        You want your celebration to be special. You don’t want anything to be just so-so.  
The cake holds a lot of emotional importance in any occasion.  It is tied to a moment of pure enjoyment and celebration.  There are three things to remember when shopping for your cake.
Looks
You want the presentation of the cake to be
a special moment, that will make everyone“ooh
and aahh!” Elegant simple structure, beautiful
decorations, and the perfect palate of colors all
      combine to make a gorgeous and memorable cake. 

 

Taste                            
How often have you gotten a cake that looked lovely, only to be disappointed by its mediocre taste?  Make sure that the cake is as good as it looks.  The cake must be made from scratch by an expert chef.  The layers should be moist.  The flavors, whether delicate or intense, must blend together to make the taste experience rewarding.  And, the cake shouldn’t be excessively sweet.

Your cake will be only as good as its ingredients.  Make sure that the ingredients are the best.  Real butter in place of shortening; real whipped cream instead of manufactured whipped topping (which is bleached); fresh fruit in place of canned fruit; homemade Italian, French, or Swiss butter creams, pastry cream, or mousses rather than mixes; and, of course homemade cake layers instead of cake mix layers.

        Your guests won’t say anything bad about a mediocre cake, but they will RAVE about a truly beautiful, divine tasting cake. Choose a cake that will be as special as you want your celebration to be.
